An AI general carries it out around the clock, and when something crosses a red line (invaded, nuked, a pact broken) the general stops and asks the nation. You get an hour to vote. Battles between countries run as real 15-minute SECOND STRIKE wars you can replay on the globe.

Every nuke anywhere moves the shared doomsday clock. At midnight the season ends and every country loses. Real places and real pressures from today's news, never real victims.
